The upside of rain

As you’re probably aware we on the East Coast of Australia have been overwhelmed with huge amounts of rain causing devastating floods.  We are safe and dry at home but heartbroken at the terrible losses around us, both human and property.

However, the sight of this Cadaghi tree, a member of the very large eucalypt family cheered my soul.  When it rains the trunk really shows it’s beautiful green smoothness.
