For Robert

Today’s Abstract Thursday is dedicated to Youoregon1/Robert Ostrochovsky, who founded this well-loved challenge end of June 2015. Robert is currently dealing with an aggressive brain tumour and had his first brain surgery recently. I’m hoping by showing our support and positive thoughts and prayers we can help him and his wife in this difficult time. I’ll send him the link to today’s collection of entries via Instagram and hope he’ll be able to see it and follow the link. 


Thank you Ingeborg for keeping us informed. I was sorry to hear this and had wondered where Robert  had disappeared to. A long lived and much loved challenge, I always like finding something odd and having a good fartnarkle. This however is entirely unfartnarkled apart from being turned on its side.


The amazing weather continues though about 10 degrees colder than yesterday. Warm enough to sit outside and enjoy a coffee with a friend this morning though the ensuing yomp was fairly bracing heading eastwards. We now have the fire lit.


And the first thoughts and vague plans re flights to NZ are being made- instant headache inducing - but we have some credits that we couldn't use coming home, and I've managed to find the paperwork so that's good.
