Many Musicians

Lucca is the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini and Luigi Boccherini and home to several music Institutes and acadamies. Musicians lugging encased instruments on their back or wheeling a cello case are a common sight here. Also common and to our delight is music wafting out from the institutes as we walk by and the weekly (or more often) recitals and concerts that the public are welcome to just walk in and have a seat and enjoy.
