Cathedral Of The Forest

A chilly day (1c to 7.5c), it was unusual in that when out this afternoon it alternated between a bit of sleet and sunshine!

I did some shopping in Coleford (Gloucestershire) and nearby is the well to do village of Newland which we walk through occasionally. The centre of this charming village is All Saints Church (1216AD) known as 'Cathedral of the Forest' with the Ostrich Inn, just outside it's gated pathway. The pub can be seen just above the Bell Tower in the photograph.
