Pieris Forest Flame

The new growth foliage is a vibrant red which eventually turns into lighter shades of red to pink and eventually to green. I just love the shrubs at this time of year when the back garden just comes to life.

I thought about scarifying the grass this afternoon but although very sunny it was also very cold so that time consuming job is on hold for now.
