Strawberry Surprise

This is the bark of a Strawberry Tree - new to me. The bark was incredible and I thought it served very well for Abstract Thursday especially as Ingeborg has set the challenge about what inspires you. Gardens, tress, flowers, reflections especially in beautiful light are on top of my list. I met a friend in Highdown Garden, near Worthing. It was built,  as an experiment, to find plants that could grow in poor chalky soil - and they certainly succeeded. The garden is beautiful and is now left in perpetuity for residents in Worthing. Worth a  visit.
