Ice Monster

A few patches of ice cling to the shoreline of the inlet where it is shaded from the sun. Thin layers revealing bits of decayed vegetation lying on the bottom and scratches and marks keeping score of winter's passing. I found this example which took on the shape of some long absent creature in my mind's eye.

At last, a reason to use the obscurely named Bleach Bypass Fuji film simulation profile. It seems to desaturate, bring out contrast and makes the whites whiter. Sounds like a washing powder. No idea of its real purpose.
