The Snow Falcon

The snow bit? Well, I was gazing out of the window at the snow flurries when the birds in the garden all suddenly disappeared, the reason being the arrival of the Sparrowhawk/Falcon!

Bitterly cold this morning when I fed the birds, +3 on the thermometer but with the wind chill felt like -3. And it’s not warmed up much all day, a strong NE wind, and a mix of sunny intervals and wintery showers.
