Geocaching & Health.

Well today was a shock to the system. The car needed defrosting before I set off to go geocaching. The day remained bitter cold due to the wind which felt as if it was direct from the Arctic.
We had an enjoyable 4 mile walk though, around Bowdon near Altrincham and our only failure was an old cache, not the relatively new series.
When I got home it was snowing but only lightly and not for long. It soon stopped and the sun came out.
My daughter (aged 52) got her hearing aids yesterday - this is just the beginning - she has a benign brain tumour (acoustic neuroma, involving two of the cranial nerves). Symptoms  she has been experiencing had been put down to the fibromyalgia she was diagnosed with last year but on reflection some of these have most likely been due to the tumour. We are hoping for a better understanding of the best way forward when she goes to her appointment at The Base of Skull Centre at Salford Hospital on May 5th.
My mum (aged 93) has had a scan on a lump which appeared on her hip and now needs and MRI - the doctor has not said why or what it might be.
My younger son (aged 45) has been having some health problems too and he is awaiting a review of a lesion on his thigh.
Hoping for the best outcomes for all.
