Snow shoes

The Arctic opened its mouth today and exhaled. None of us was unaware of that. Between the hefty snow showers the sun shone brightly but apologetically after last week’s early tease of summer. Our next door neighbours invited us in for coffee and a lovely welcome, this morning, and tour of their large garden. We had a wintry walk home from school with the boys. Reading, homework, music making and enlightening conversation ensued!
