Wild flower wall top
The wild flowers at this time of year are just wonderful, all struggling to grow and set seed before the summer heat kills them off.
A while back I began a series of blips on the wild flowers around here, but I stopped doing it because there were other things that I wanted to photograph. However I've carried on taking photos each time I see a new one begin blooming, and I plan to open another journal specifically for wild flowers. The journal is there, but I haven't got round to the massive job of uploading all the photos yet.
A busy day at the Mas, with me digging half one third of the bed designated for tomatoes and doing some tidying up, and with Steve getting most of the irrigation pipes sorted out. Now we're going to have lentil shepherd's pie... which Steve doesn't fancy much, but I want to see what it's like!
