Magnolia Soulangeana

There are magnolia trees in a number of gardens round here. This is their time. I think this is Magnolia x Soulangeana - the most widely grown cultivar.

Thank you for all the lovely messages yesterday. I've definitely got a virus (not THE virus) so I'm taking it very slowly again today. I'm just so glad to feel better than I did yesterday and grateful that this is only a bug which will go.

It's a chilly day to welcome April but it's really glorious with bright sunshine and a breeze to blow the washing around.
