Wires
I had a nice sunday drive to Tottijärvi with the camera as I tried to find some migratory birds. I heard two or three Caffinch (which sing like this) in the small wood and some Eurasian Black Grouses (sounded like this) on the fields! Saw none of them, what a pity!
To my mind the scenes in the finnish countryside are relaxing... Just look to woods and fields and electric and telephone wires over the roads and hear the wind - and some bird singing. Today, as there is so much cold and snow, the scene was still very quiet. Some roads - as this one - has been made of clay and sand. In springtime they are partly very soft and almost difficult to drive when the ground is wet from melting ice...
In winter this scene is very different as there is more snow and there is no streetlights and ways are covered with white ice...
Finnish excotic?
When driving home (camera on the back seat of the car), I saw a huge whooper swan flying low over the road. So beautiful! Shortly after that there was four more swans standing on the edge of the ice on lake Pyhäjärvi. I was on highway. No change to stop - or not a single idea how to make to the shore...
Well... No shots of migratory birds captured then... ;-)
Thank you for favourites and stars for my droplet yesterday, very kind of you!
And thanks for supportive commenting - yes I know there is more or less other life too, than blipping, but it would still be so nice to have somekind of a perfect blip for every day... ;-). This is so attractive world!
Heading to a new and exciting week soon.... Hope this will be a good week!
