She's got a nest full of kits somewhere high up in the trees. She comes down each morning for raw peanuts and anything else I'm serving. Squirrel kits are born blind and depend on mom for two to three months! They provide food for predators like hawks and snakes. I dedicate this image to all those women seeking to protect their children and themselves during Putin's horrendous war against Ukraine.
