Friday Walk
Snow & sleet showers early on, so we weren't really wanting to go for a walk but we had to go to the village to collect something so went over to the forest at West Harling for a short walk. The "short" turned into "longer" as the showers held off - & as we could be fairly sheltered from the wind if we stayed in the main forest & didn't go out onto the heathland. The Blip is of some unfamiliar flowers on a group of small trees alongside the Forest Lodge camping place. Took a while to catch one reasonably sharply as they were dancing around in the wind on the corner. We thought they were some sort of maple & it now looks as if they could be ash-leaved maples, though the dead leaves on the ground didn't seem to be pinnate, like small ash leaves. Will have to have a look on a future walk, once the new leaves have opened.
