Nothing lasts forever

I have been carefully watching this Magnolia tree in the Presbytery garden for the last few weeks waiting for the ideal shot. Today I think it arrived with this beautiful blue sky and the flowers in full bloom. It reminded me of a visit to Kyoto in Japan some years ago. We were lucky enough to arrive on the day the Cherry blossom was at its best, it was a perfect day, a short but beautful moment in time to be appreciated.
The buds on the little Cherry tree in my garden are still tightly shut I can't say I blame them, it might be bright but it's jolly cold!
