Hungry boy

Phin slept reasonably well but didn’t wake too early surprisingly given his little he ate yesterday.

He wolfed down his chicken and rice for breakfast and looked longingly at my toast but I resisted giving him even the tiniest crust.

After lunch (someone enjoyed a bit more chicken and rice whilst the rest of us made do with soup) we headed to Springfield Mill where he met another lab his age and they had loads of fun swimming in the river.

Home in time to chat with our son and his girlfriend. They’re starting to feel better but are still testing positive so our son has decided that his planned skiing/music festival holiday is definitely off the cards. Smart chap had taken insurance so hopefully he will get his money back ok.

Phin seems to have shaken off yesterdays sickness but we’ve been doing a bit of research on muzzles that he can wear when out running about off lead to help stop him picking up rubbish. There’s a lot of choice but the basket weave ones look to be a front runner at the moment.

Took the stamens out of my lillies to prevent them staining the surfaces when they start to droop and liked this shot for todays FlowerFriday. Thanks to BikerBear for her continued hosting.
