I took mum for some tests at the hospital - all was well. Her appointment took a couple of hours so I went for a walk in Bitts Park. The Caldew and Eden rivers meet towards the East of the park.
The roofers stripped the old slates and membrane off the roof and applied a new one with struts ready for the solar panels.
