not opening in the - usual way however - as most tulips do - i began to notice - after several days - that these tulips - were lasting a bit - longer than was typical - of most of the - tulips i get and - also they just weren’t - opening wide in the - manner that my tulips - usually open, know what i mean?

sometimes tulips are - a bit prickly that way - they’ll remain slightly - closed up into themselves - versus spreading their - petals wide open to - the world at large - why this is - i don’t know - or understand or know - how to prevent it - as with this particular - bloom, it’s no less - lovely and certainly it - still does make it…
