Mixed weather

There was short-lived evidence of overnight snowfall this morning. Later, it hailstoned. It was windy for a while. When I went out, it wasn’t as cold as I’d expected.

They’ve tarmacked the path to the train station, so it is no longer subsiding into the ditch – laughably called Holmes River on some maps – that runs alongside it.

It looks like they’ve started work on the nine executive houses that block the shortcut. I don’t know where they’re going to fit them all in.
