Wine glass
Today was the first day of the Tracey Clark Picture Everything photo prompts with today prompt being about confetti and color. While looking for a suitable subject, I happened upon this hand painted wine glass when I put something else back in the china cabinet. Set it in the lightbox but just used the natural light since the other lights reflected so much.
Bright and colorful, like confetti!
I found that some other people who were also in previous classes are taking this class so it will be good to touch bases with them again through our photography.
On the home front news, Jerry has finally gotten tired of my whining (and nagging!) about wanting part of our back porch screened in for a room to sit and eat or read. He got part of the framing done yesterday (in the pouring rain since he could not do anything else but watch TV). Still a ways to go and he is taking his time but hopefully around Easter I can sit out there without worrying about flies and mosquitoes eating on me. We will have two wooden screen doors that will make that fabulous slapping sound reminding me of childhood days! Photos later!
There is an air show at Shaw AFB tomorrow and Sunday with the Thunderbird precision jets flying and some other fighter jets as well as old school plans and paratrooper demo. We plan to go Sunday. We have been a couple of time and the show is always exciting!
Have a good weekend Blippers. Many healing thoughts to Robert O youoregon1 as he goes through his health problems.
