Inside a palm tree.

I've had a lovely day......after breakfast, on my way back to the room i stopped and explored the amazing textures and shapes inside one of the palm trees!   This one has been enhanced a bit....see the extra for one that is more true to it's actual colors.

After a nap and a good long read of my book, off to the beach!   the water was perfect and i a couple of good swims.   Back under the cabana for more reading.   i'm just amazed at how empty this end of the beach is, and it's not as if i have to walk for miles!!!!  

back to the room to find that my key didn't work....so after lunch i got that sorted and another couple of hours in my lovely air conditioned room.  It might sound kinda weird that i spend quite a bit of my day in my hotel room...but it is actually a very spacious and bright room, with large french doors out onto a balcony and a sunny view - we're on the 3rd floor.  It is air conditioned and i tell you this heat is rather exhausting so it definitely replenishes my need for some quite!!!

back to the beach around 5pm, the heat of course has subsided by this time....delightful way to end the day...another swim in the crystal clear waters.....

now - checking into blip and doing some other stuff on my laptop!   I have to laugh at me as i leave our room, with brief case in hand...feels like i'm heading to the office :)
