Able Seadog JUST NUISANCE R. N.

had his birthday celebrated in style this morning with a band , cake, and a fancy dress for dogs. I thought that the celebration was to be at his statue but infact it was at the Museum.
Just Nuisance was a Great Dane who adopted  sailors from the Royal Navy. He loved sailors who wore bell bottom trousers, tight jerseys and a square collar. Officers and ratings who wore the other kind of uniform were only tolerated and those in Air Force or Army uniform were ignored.
