In a bar Blackpool following the Alfie Boe gig, I hatched a plot with Sara and Lou to take my wigwam to the Lakes with candles, firewood, wine and a guitar as soon as some better weather comes. The fundamental flaw in the plan was the fact that none of us owned a guitar......this afternoon however the flaw was remedied by a quick trip to Argos with Lou. I am now the proud owner of a guitar for the first time since I was a teenager and we spent a very jolly afternoon singing as many songs as we could find which accommodated the only 6 chords that I know !
