Taking Stock
It's been a pretty grey day and very blustery - as you can see from the shot -But I went to Arley Hall to the plant sale nonetheless and I am glad I did. I found a couple of pretty little plants - a pink and a blue (that's as horticultural as I get)
Usually on the last Sunday of a holiday I get the dreaded and well known by most teachers Sunday evening blues, but not this time. It's been a pretty productive holiday and I feel ready for the half term ahead.
This week is going to be a tough and busy one - P is away all week down south working which means I am on dog walking duty in the mornings as well. I don't mind at all, but it does mean getting up earlier than usual.
We also have South African exchange students and teachers arriving tomorrow which means a little more rushing around than normal.
We are also still 4 key members of staff down in our faculty, which again means more organising on the cover front.
However, I feel like I have had a good holiday - lots of fresh air, dog walking, catching up with friends, pottering in the garden, spending time on blip/facebook/ebay etc and plenty of beauty sleep!!
Right .... deep breath in..... bring on this half term!!! :-)
