‘Drum Sands Revealed’’

Another Saturday, another clear and windless morning, another parkrun. 

But the scene was very different from.last week.

Today the tide was right out, revealing the full extent of the Drum Sands, the extensive expanse of tidal sands running along several miles of  the southern  side of the Firth of Forth. 

I love the patterns of water on the sands!
