New life

A hard frost this morning but then a lovely sunny day, warm if you were out of the wind.

This morning I spoke to my friend who has had good news from the hospital.  Did a few jobs and then went round in the car for K and we went to Leigh, walked to our favourite coffee shop and then a longer walk down by the sea, tide in and back to the car. 
Came home, had lunch and then went food shopping.  I did some gardening when I came back home and then had a walk down the lane where I took these photos.  I liked the new leaf coming out but also the old ones, lovely light on both.
