Spring in the garden

The garden is always at its best at this time of year. Things tend to get a bit out of control as the summer progresses! The tulips are now coming out and the later fancy daffs are still looking good.

Another beautiful morning down at Cramond although there was a bit of a chill in the easterly wind. This afternoon I spent time in the garden, mostly hacking back bits of shrubs and cutting out old dead wood.
