An Aero Legend

As I was getting ready to leave the Ongar property after cutting the lawn this morning I hear an unmistakable sound. I grabbed the camera and managed this Spitfire shot.

I've photographed this aircraft once before. It was built at Castle Bromwich as a Spitfire Low Level Fighter and after modifications by Miles Aircraft, it was delivered to 411 (Grizzly Bear) squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force on 22nd June 1944. She was lost south east of Caen after tangling with FW190s on 2nd July. Her pilot escaped unscathed.  'Elizabeth' has been restored and converted to dual cockpit. Aero Legends operate her for flight experiences.
