Ramadan Mubarak !

Our son in law has volunteered as a FA fully qualified coach for many years. Today was his last day in charge as a significant work promotion now means he will not have the time to do this anymore. The players, their parents and his fellow coaches showed their great appreciation. It was a very touching moment.

I went to and from the football ground on my bicycle. This was its first outing since we moved. I really enjoyed being back on two wheels again. It’s also interesting to appreciate fully the change in gradients. This is something that when driving the car I never seems to notice!

We walked to our local supermarket this afternoon and came home with “armfuls” of geraniums and bougainvillea! Every little helps our garden planning!!

I cooked our evening meal … listening to the voices of the few Ukrainians who have just managed to escape from Mariupol after 5 weeks. Incomprehensible.
