Tarbert Waterfront

Good old Prop showed up and we had a confab. He agreed; it’s goosed. Luckily Craig was loitering on the pontoon so we quickly made arrangements to haul out and I went off to catch up with the lads who were over in Tarbert.
Back to Portavadie mid afternoon for the haul out after waving the lads off. Of course I had to pump the bilge as I scooted round the harbour thanks to my pissing gland. How often does a manual bilge pump fail to work? Surely not when you really need it. Half way round it starts wheezing air! Much later, and safely ashore, I got it out from behind the calorifier to find splits in the neoprene diaphragm. Honestly it’s enough to drive you to.. yes yes
