A beautiful summer like day today as we enter the second month of autumn. The team getting Sargent Best ready for his race at Rangiora today. Sarge ran a superb race and finished second beaten by the narrowest of margins after hitting the lead on the home turn and only being caught in the last 10 metres. He has now had 6 seconds and 3 thirds in 11 starts. Hopefully his first win is not too far away.
