Hood canal exploration

Today we drove around Lake cushman and it’s a gorgeous late surrounded by snow peaked mountains . We saw some beautiful waterfalls along the drive . Then we went to potlatch state park where Big R git some fresh oysters and scooped them out and slurped them down. The season to get them opened today and he had his oyster knife all ready. Not my thing as I’m not an oyster
eater but he enjoyed them . He also ate some pan fried ones as pictured here. We stopped in Hama Hama to see the huge oyster piles with people climbing on them.
Cowboy enjoyed the fresh air and being with us. More explanation tomorrow as we continue up the fiord like canal.
