Upper Taylor River

Daylight saving finished at 3.am when the clocks dropped back one hour. So it was almost daylight when Maisie and I set out for our walk. We did a longer distance up the true left bank of the river to the culverts at the Omaka Ford. The view upstream is starting to look very autumnal. Then back via the true right bank. About 7.5 kms. Hannah and Alex and their cat, Kevin are visiting from Marahau. It’s lovely to see them. Alas they go home tomorrow.
