Watching

Today Ann piled all the outdoor furniture and pots onto the decking and then she scrubbed all the sun terrace slabs until they were nice and clean.

I just lay in the sunshine and watched her.

……..And when she’d finished, she lay in the sunshine as well, because the temperature on our sun terrace hit 30C this afternoon.
