We’ve had the gift of snow - perfect for the final week in our chalet. Snow also means low cloud and much colder than it has been. So the skiers have had the pleasure of the powder and the challenge of the low light.
Today I had a walk round our 2 local villages which have very old traditional buildings at their centre - and many new chalets and apartments in the surrounding areas. ‘Our’ chalet sits on the edge of one village and next to the bisse footpath which gives us a nice level walk along to the ski station. Nothing else is flat round here.
