Take a Break

With not a Crow in sight, a chance for this Red-shouldered Hawk to take a break. More often than not, the local Crow Mob would be chasing her just because she dared fly through their 'territory'! I watched as she tucked up one talon to give it a rest and then she began calling. In my head I was telling her not to bring the wrath of the Mob down upon herself by making those loud vocalizations. She finally stopped and took flight. Watch out tasty little creatures! Momma's on the hunt once more!
