Down with the Daffs
We had a good wander around the gardens at the Castle, there’s always something new to look at.
The Lowther Lout was in photo bomb mode, and the cafe was packed inside and out. We didn’t wait the 30 minutes for the chips, even if they are the best.
Later we cleared out the front room ahead of visitors arriving. I’d forgotten what a nice room it is when relieved of spiders, cobwebs and drifts of things that we couldn’t be bothered to sort out. The telly that was unceremoniously replaced at the start of lockdown still resides there, unwatched. That’s for the next clear-out.
