Blackthorn

How obtuse. Ran a lichens* workshop today but you're getting a tree picture.
In a few weeks, for me at least, this will be largely indistinguishable from Hawthorn, but right now it's quite easy as it flowers before it gets its leaves which Hawthorn does not.

Lovely bunch on the workshop with an average age well over 70. I hope I'm as keen to learn and explore when (if) I get to there.
