My new shoes! Sparkles - check, high heels - check, completely impractical to wear in the rain on a night out - check.

Actually, they were surprisingly comfortable and survived the bad weather very well. The hen party was lots of fun - we quaffed a few cocktails and then headed to Jamie's Italian where we had a table booked in The Vault. The building in Manchester used to be a bank, and he's done an amazing job restoring it. The Vault is a private dining room which was, obviously, the original bank vault where all the safety deposit boxes were, and still are. It was brilliant! Hayley (the hen) had a great night (Sambuca shots aside which she was forced to drink if she got a question wrong from the 'Mr and Mrs quiz).

And the best bit? No hangover today! Hooray!
