I turned my back on the hamster’s wheel today and it was lovely. A day of chilling; learned a new board game (Azul), read, snoozed, watched an old fave movie, FaceTimed with TGR. No obsessing about steps or things ticked off the to-do list.

Thinking of everyone who is working hard at fighting their demons tonight. Life is not easy. We live in troubled times. Compassion is everything, and we owe a duty of care to ourselves and everyone we touch.
