The fight may be up

When national politicians can’t or won’t stop Ukraine or the climate and ecological disasters unfolding and local ones can’t or won’t stop unwanted and unnecessary quarrying, tree felling, access and amenity loss and environmental destruction, it not only makes hope and faith hard to hold on to…but it makes democracy seem pretty pointless. Capital and greed and cruelty led by the few seem all conquering. But tomorrow is I suppose another day…
