Ben More and Stobinian
As the forecast suggested it might be the last warm day we went to the Trossachs to walk up Ben Venue. We had been up it before when it was proper winter and we only had the view at the top. This time it was warm, so yet another shorts day; 3 in a week is unusual for March. The blip is a view looking over Loch Katrine to the Crianlarich Hills from near the Trig Point, with Ben More and Stobinian on the right; they are much less snowy from this side. I reckon most people go to the Trig thinking it’s the top whereas the north top is 2 meters higher. Of the 10 people we saw up the hill we were the only ones to actually go there. The extra is a view of Ben Venue reflected in Loch Achray before we parked.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is reflections in Loch Achray.
