Guess the saints

I thought I'd have a go at a stained glass window for today's blip, which was a little trickier than you might think. Electronic jiggery pokery was involved to try to straighten it up a bit as I couldn't get square on in church.

This window isn't all that old, being dedicated in 1998. It is the work of the artist Osmund Caine, who doesn't name the saints depicted as he wants people to work it out from the clues in the windows. Also included are some hints as to the generous donors. We have 8 of these windows by Osmund Caine and all the others are memorial gifts. This was a thanksgiving gift for a Golden Wedding Anniversary - as the donor told me, he wanted to enjoy the window while he was alive! I hope you enjoy it too. If you want to have a guess as to the identity of the Saints, I'll only say if you get them both right! Happy guessing.
