Very Calm Ocean

The usual routine took place....then a few hours on the beach.   The ocean was so incredibly calm!

New novel is going well.....The Heartbreak Hotel by Heather O'Neil....it had very dark moments to begin with, but there was a lot of lightness and beauty - that was for the 1st 1/4 of the book...now it's getting pretty dark!  During the Depression, in Montreal and lots of drugs, prostitution, alcohol etc., getting pretty gritty....but i'm hopeful it will bring back some of the light and optimism i found in the beginning....we'll see!
