Mono Monday : Unusual angle

Most hellebores hide their heads modestly, but this one was boldly peeking up in the park today.
Bit worrying, not a bee to be seen, and though the pulmonaria’s in full bloom, there are none of the hairy-footed flower bees which are usually busy on it at this time of year.
On the plus side, there was a most fetching aroma of burnt fat and weed perfuming the air. My town is so sophisticated.
