Finals

The Icelandic Championships in badminton are over once again. We had a two hour long live broadcast on the national TV. It's great that we get that, it's not common in Europe, but it's still too little. For example the very intense men's doubles only started after two hours so it was not broadcasted. Pity!
I umpired two finals and got the highest praise one can get as an official, when the commentator said I was a good umpire - on national TV! I am flabbergasted, umpires and referees usually only get critisism.

The weather was very good, so after all the drama in the hall we went for a walk down to the river and over to the other side, where we saw this beautiful cat. It just sat there waiting to be photographed.
