Fun run

Not two words you would ever find me using willingly in conjunction with each other. Mr G, however, does quite enjoy running, and this morning completed a 10k run organised by a local running club, together with his mum. Immediately after the race, they held a 1 mile children's fun run. Mr G accompanied Littler G for part of the course, while Little G ran the whole course with his grandmother (I, of course, fulfilled the critical role of bag-carrier and supporter-in-chief). He came last, but was smiling broadly as he crossed the finished line, and seemed blissfully unaware of the fact.

He is hugely proud of his medal. I am hugely proud of him.
