Lanyon Quoit

We had to visit this ancient monument before we left as it was so close to where we were staying. It was only the start of the day.

We then went over to the far west. We avoided a trip to Land's End! Instead we parked at Cape Cornwall instead and started a walk up the coast to visit some of the "Poldark" mines. The extra is of the Botallack mine. 

We then walked back across country to the start. We'd had a great week here, helped by the good dry weather and lack of crowds. A great time of year to visit Cornwall for the latter reason for us.
