Souvenir

This little pin dish lives in the kitchen, by the slate upon which  I note any items for the shopping list; I keep the chalk in it.

As you see it depicts a kiwi, so will come as no surprise that it came from New Zealand, bought in a little craft market in Queenstown, on the holiday in 2018 we shared with my Australian friend.

And it reminds me that her birthday was last month and I have not sent so much as a card.
